One Sentence A Day?

So, I just heard of a journaling technique that consists of just writing one sentence a day. To be brief, on the Tiny Devotions website-which is rad-I stubbled upon their blog. One topic they discussed was this journal. I love the idea! One sentence, each day. Seems easy enough! I'm thinking about posting my one sentence everyday on here, or maybe I'll just keep it more personal? What do you think? Is that a type of journaling that YOU could commit to? Should I post mine? ...curious!

P.S. Part of the reason this caught my attention at all is because my dad journals. I am so very grateful for his journaling! He will be giving his journals to me when he passes (no time soon, hopefully). I've always wanted to journal but it's always felt very overwhelming and too much. One sentence though, I think I can do!

P.S.S Tiny Devotion's Mala Beads are amazing and beautiful! I want one!

Black and White/ Weekend Exploring!

A non-decorating Friday post...life, in Black and White.

*On a side note, Kurt and I have been talking about what we will do when our kids get old enough to go on little dates. Kurt, "I'll drive them to the movies and make sure there is no touching at any point in time and the whole way there I'll play the song Sam Hall..." Wow, he's gonna be a no joke scary awesome dad! Love him so much more!

Gin and Tonic, anyone?

Sweet.

A little graphic I know-but how awesome!

I go on dates with this guy all the time! :)

Rustic.

How my bike looks now.

The best moments in the world!

Here are the lyrics to "Sam Hall"...'nuff said: After the jump!

By candlelight

Today I lit some candles throughout the apartment during plain daylight! This may be common to some, but I usually refrain until it's dark outside and more than just my lowly-self is wandering through the place. I enjoyed the scent and knowing that a type of "life form" (being fire) is present. Having the elements around you-water, fire, wind, sun-makes you (me) feel alive and not alone. I think that's why getting outside during the winter months is so important. You feel the wind, you may or may not see the sun...etc.

What do you think? Do you have a mini fountain around? Do you light candles during the day when you're alone? Do you go for walks to feel the sun and wind? I'm super excited to have this new discovery! :) It may seem silly but the elements really do make me feel less alone! Interesting.
